Product Life Cycle Management (PLM) Tool

Product life cycle management (PLM) tool is used to manage the entire lifecycle of product from concept, design, manufacturing, service to disposal. PDM Product data management is critical component of PLM. With PDM the data can be managed in a secured form. All the engineering data including manufacturing drawings, BOM’s, Assembly instructions, standard components, etc are stored at central place which is accessed by different users with authentication for generation, modification and usages for manufacturing and assembly. All the modifications are tracked by version control and can be referred at any time. The data can be accessed from various location by various people through PDM is read by various tools for updating and stored back in the system through PDM. All the documents are stored by standard coding system for uniquely identifying the parts.
