Computer based training is given through computer, in which the content is given in the linear fashion and offer visual learning benefits through animation or video.

Assessing computer based learning is through multiple choice questions which can be scored easily and end user feedback can be given immediately.

CBTs are useful for imparting education or for learning new software.
